BEST serves the community at Union Gospel Mission Day of Meals
In December 2025, BEST had the honour of joining the Day of Meals with Union Gospel Mission (UMG), a tradition our team has embraced year after year.
This special event gave our team the chance to roll up their sleeves to help with meal prep and serve dinners to those who need it most. It was hands-on, heartwarming work that truly makes a difference. We got the chance to live our values and show our ongoing commitment to serving, giving back, and staying connected to our community.
BEST Simcoe Hall Community Programs & Food Bank Support
This holiday season, our DC/OITON/OI2ON/WHIYBY team proudly supported Simcoe Hall Community Programs & Food Bank. During the Christmas party, team members generously donated boxes of food, toys, and baby items to contribute to Simcoe Hall’s efforts to reduce hunger and support local families during the holidays.
The celebration also included a fun fundraising moment where donors had the chance to “pie” a member of the management team, bringing extra energy to the activity and encouraging participation while reflecting BEST’s culture of collaboration, respect, and giving back to the communities we serve. Thank you to everyone who contributed, and to the management team who joined in: Shawn Meehan, Shari Lain, Amanda Carruthers, Natalie Lawrence, Leona Adams, and Michael Stweart. This was a true reflection of your generosity and team spirit!
