Our Laurentian University team and their families came together for the site’s first-ever Summer Fun Day, a new idea from Site Manager Nesta Blackwood to create more time for the team to connect and enjoy together. Everyone brought dishes from their cultural backgrounds for a potluck, and games added some extra fun to the afternoon.
Even a little rain could not take away from the day. Between the food, conversations, and time spent together, the celebration gave teammates a chance to enjoy each other’s company outside of the usual routine. Site Supervisor Neethu Dominic and frontline team member Tamanna Akter helped with the organizing and decorating, making Laurentian’s first Summer Fun Day a team memory that may be the start of a new tradition.
