On June 6, our Alberta team proudly participated in Pearls of Wisdom at Mount Royal University (MRU), an event that brought people together to celebrate community and support students. The fundraiser helps provide scholarships that make it easier for students to continue their education and reach their goals.
As a sponsor of this year’s event, BEST was proud to support a cause that makes a difference for students and the community. Our team also helped behind the scenes by laying tarps throughout the space, helping keep the event safe and welcoming, and providing cleaning services during and after the event. Thank you to our MRU team for your hard work and dedication in helping make this special event a success.
Opening Doors for St. Clair College Students
BEST joined the St. Clair College Golf Tournament as the event’s Volunteer Sponsor. Held at Sutton Creek Golf Course, the tournament brought together members of the College and the local community while raising funds for scholarships that help students continue working toward their educational goals.
Having the opportunity to support more than the services we provide allows us to play a positive role in the St. Clair College community. Initiatives like this help create a stronger and more positive campus environment, while reminding us that our work is connected to something bigger: supporting the well-being and success of the students, staff, visitors, and BEST team members who share the campus. It is one more way we continue contributing to the growth and well-being of the communities we are part of.
Supporting Student Success in Durham Region
Members of our Ontario team recently attended the Regional Chair’s Classic at Deer Creek Golf and Banquet Facility in Ajax, Ontario. As a long-time partner of Durham College and Ontario Tech University, we were proud to take part in an event that supports students and contributes to programs that make a positive impact in the community.
This annual golf tournament helps raise funds for student success initiatives and mental health programs across Durham Region. Over the years, the event has helped create opportunities for students at Durham College and Ontario Tech University while also supporting patient-focused programs at Ontario Shores Centre for Mental Health. Events like the Regional Chair’s Classic give us the opportunity to support programs that make a difference in the communities we serve.
