On June 27, Canada marks Canadian Multiculturalism Day, a moment to honour the many cultural communities that help build a strong and vibrant Canadian society and to celebrate the diversity that enriches us collectively. For BEST, it is a natural day to pause and recognize the people who make our teams so valuable.
Recognizing that variety also means communicating in a way that includes everyone. That is why our BEST Bulletin features a language plugin that lets team members read it in the languages they are most comfortable with, so important updates reach everyone clearly, no matter which language they speak at home.
That diversity is part of who we are. Across the country, our team members come from many backgrounds and bring a wide range of languages, traditions, and perspectives to work each day. It reflects the broader Canadian picture, where over 200 mother tongues are spoken and 4.6 million people speak predominantly a language other than English or French at home. We see that same richness in our own workforce, and we consider it a strength.
To everyone across our sites who makes BEST a welcoming place to work, thank you for the culture, perspective, and spirit you bring.
