Intellibot Gets a New Look and Name at BCIT

Introducing Shiney McFloorshine - The newest member of the BEST Service Pros Intellibot family! A hands-free floor cleaning robot, Shiney is simple, straight-forward, environmentally-friendly and uses 85% less water and fewer chemicals.

BEST Service Pros has implemented the Intellibot at BCIT - Aerospace Technology Campus and, to make this innovation even more attractive and fun, BCIT and BEST Services Pros have created a custom design for their Intellibot.

The idea was to have the same design elements of the North American Harvard, an airplane that was widely used for training aviation students. This is a fun nod to the industry as this Intellibot runs through the halls of BCIT’s Aerospace campus.

To go along with the design, BCIT faculty held a naming contest celebrating the new robotic floor machine. “Shiney McFloorshine” won the day and was featured, interview and all, on BCIT's internal social network, with its new title - Floor Detail Engineer.
