Building on the sustainability conversations we’ve been sharing this month, we’re proud to highlight a key milestone in our environmental journey. One of the ways we track our progress is through the Ostrom GHG audit, conducted by Ostrom Climate. This audit measures our greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions and helps us understand the real impact of our efforts. Positive results from this audit are important—they show how our actions translate into measurable environmental benefits and guide us in identifying further opportunities for improvement.
We are excited to share the results of our most recent Ostrom GHG audit, which highlights significant progress in our sustainability efforts. From 2021 to 2023, we successfully reduced our greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions by 17.1% lowering our total tCO2e (tons of CO2 equivalent) per employee from 1.71 to 1.02. This achievement reflects our ongoing commitment to minimizing our environmental impact.
As part of our broader sustainability strategy, we are currently reviewing our fleet operations to identify opportunities for incorporating hybrid or fully electric vehicles, further reducing our carbon footprint. Additionally, we are collaborating with Bunzl to optimize our delivery frequency, which helps reduce our scope 3 emissions—emissions generated by our supply chain and other indirect activities.
Through our partnership with Ostrom Climate, we are continuing to offset approximately 600 tCO2e each year, which accounts for around 25% of our emissions. These offsets are invested in carbon reduction projects, helping to further mitigate the environmental impact of our operations.
