BEST Service Pros.

Maintaining a safe and healthy work environment is a fundamental part of BEST’s approach to excellence. We are committed to keeping spaces clean, and doing so safely is just as important to us. Proper waste disposal supports not only clean and well-maintained facilities, but also the health and well-being of our teams and the communities we serve.

Although garbage handling may seem like a simple routine task, it can present real risks if not managed properly. Heavy or overloaded bags can lead to strains and sprains. Hidden sharp objects may cause cuts. Wet or cluttered areas can create slip hazards. There is also potential exposure to harmful materials without the right precautions.

For this reason, we take a proactive and consistent approach to safe waste handling at every site we service. Our teams are trained to:

  • Avoid overloading waste receptacles

  • Use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE)

  • Refrain from entering dumpsters or compactors

  • Never manually compress or dig through garbage

  • Seek assistance when handling heavy loads

Through regular safety training and Toolbox Talks, we reinforce proper procedures and promote hazard awareness. These measures encourage open communication and ensure consistency, compliance, and responsiveness in waste management. Our ongoing focus helps protect our team members while maintaining safe and welcoming environments for our clients and their communities.

We firmly believe that safety and operational excellence are inseparable. Safety is not simply a procedure for us; it is a responsibility, a standard, and a promise we uphold every day.
