As of December 14, 2023, Bruce Taylor assumed the role of President at the British Columbia Contract Cleaners Association (BCCCA). Bruce is dedicated to embodying and advancing the BCCCA's mission to provide the professional cleaning industry community with knowledge, expertise, education, and awareness, with integrity, honesty, and professionalism.
Currently serving as the CEO of BEST Service Pros Ltd., Bruce brings with him over 30 years of experience in the service industry with an emphasis on business growth and operational excellence. He began his professional journey within the industry as a General Manager at Cintas, overseeing numerous service contracts in the Alberta market. Since joining BEST in 2010, Bruce has held pivotal roles such as General Manager of Alberta Operations, Chief Operating Officer, and President, before his current role as CEO.
Under Bruce’s guidance, BEST has achieved significant operational goals and successfully managed numerous large-scale contracts. He is credited with the expansion of BEST’s core business, diversifying the organization’s services and clientele, and advocating for company values. Bruce has played a key role in developing BEST's Corporate Social Responsibility framework, fostering a robust company culture, and forming long-term partnerships with clients and organizations.
Bruce will prove to be an impactful leader for the BCCCA, drawing from his extensive experience and the shared values between the two organizations he is committed to serving. Founded in 1956 by Ulf von Dehn, BEST is a premier provider of janitorial services in Canada, specializing in integrated green solutions, building maintenance, and customer service. The company has received recognition as one of Canada's Best Managed Companies – Platinum level for the past nine years and boasts a reputation for excellence, innovation, and sustainability. Like the BCCCA, BEST is committed to continuous improvement and positive impact.
The BCCCA represents the commercial cleaning industry in British Columbia. The association plays a pivotal role in establishing a unified voice for the cleaning industry in the province, liaising with government bodies for legislation and standard setting that affect the sector, and ensuring that the interests of contract cleaners are well-represented. Both BCCCA and BEST share common objectives related to quality, community impact, education, industry partnerships, networking, ethical conduct, and positive team culture.
Expressing his enthusiasm for the new role, Bruce stated, "I am honoured to take on the role of President at the BCCCA. I have long been committed to elevating industry standards, and this new position allows me to contribute further to the advancement of the cleaning profession in British Columbia."
As Bruce Taylor assumes the role of President at BCCCA, BEST remains confident that his leadership will continue to drive excellence and innovation within the cleaning industry.
