World Day for Cultural Diversity

The BEST team consists of team members from a variety of different cultures. It is exciting to share and embrace these differences. World Day for Cultural Diversity is annually held on May 21st to help people learn about the importance of cultural diversity and harmony. BEST has adopted this and each year we celebrate and enjoy each others differences through an event. Yesterday, our team had a potluck where each team member brought a dish from a different country and some people also dressed in their different cultural attire. We enjoyed each others company and a break from our hard work. Each of our sites across Western Canada have been encouraged to celebrate this important day.
