Let’s Talk Mental Health to Be a Supportive Place for Team Members
Today is January 26, the day Canadians raise awareness and money for mental health through the Bell Let's Talk campaign. The purpose of the campaign is to help people of all backgrounds and age groups struggling with their mental health, especially amid the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic. This day is essential as Canadian society begins to eliminate the stigma around mental illness, supporting organizations across Canada to help improve mental health care access and funding research that could one day offer promising treatments.
At BEST, we believe that our responsibility is to maintain a healthy work-life balance by providing the best resources for our team's mental health. It is everyone's responsibility to ensure a healthy workplace, but it is also the responsibility of all teams to be aware of other team members' behaviour relating to anxiety, depression, pessimism, irritability, a sense of overwhelm, discouragement, lack of interest, or an inability to concentrate and make decisions.
