BEST provides “Heroes` Lunch” for frontline team
Yesterday, April 2, BEST Service Pros hosted a "Heroes` Lunch" to thank all our dedicated frontline team members. Our teams are working hard to help "flatten the curve" of this pandemic at campuses, shopping centres, and convention centres across Canada. We are proud of the very courageous and important work that they continue to do each and every day.
Our heroes each received an individually packaged meal from a local Subway Canada franchise to offer a standardized lunch and support small businesses in the midst of this pandemic.
To promote social distancing during their lunch, we outlined our social distancing guide, which presented these five essential precautions that all workers needed to take while having their lunch:
1- Avoid person-to-person contact such as shaking hands;
2- Get some fresh air, and eat outside if possible;
3- Wash hands before and after a meal;
4- If you must eat inside, maintain a 6ft distance between your colleagues;
5. Enjoy yourself but think about your health and safety.
