Growing and Cleaning the Community Together

If you are a Vancouverite and have not heard of Gordon Neighbourhood House then you should know more about them! They are a community hub in the Vancouver West End that focuses on working with friends, neighbours in order to facilitate connection, engagement and collaboration while developing the community. Gordon Neighbourhood House has programs for people of all ages including children and seniors.

"The mandate of Gordon Neighbourhood House is to support our community by providing relevant programs, fostering leadership, social inclusion and meaningful opportunities for inter-cultural learning, community dialogue and education."

One of the Gordon Neighbourhood projects is their Clean Team.  Both the West End Business Improvement Association and Gordon Neighbourhood House work together to keep the streets clean and foster the community. This Clean Team consists on staff who contribute 24 hours a week to collect letter, remove posters, remove graffiti and perform litter and cigarette butt audits.

In the The Clean Team's second year, they have partnered with BEST Service Pros in order to provide useful supplies to The Team to ensure that the Vancouver West End is more beautiful than ever. We look forward to growing this partnership and are very thankful for the work that the individuals in The Clean Team do to contribute to our beautiful city.
