Supporting our community is one of our core values at BEST. Partnering with local charities and organizations allows us to make a meaningful impact, and our longstanding collaboration with Union Gospel Mission (UGM) is one we hold close to heart.
For several years, our team members have enthusiastically participated in UGM’s Day of Meals program in downtown Vancouver. This initiative not only gives us the chance to serve meals but also provides a firsthand look at the transformative work UGM does every day.
This year, BEST once again donated to the organization, while our dedicated volunteers joined the UGM staff to serve over 800 fresh, nutritious meals to individuals in need. UGM’s impact extends far beyond meal services. They offer recovery programs for individuals facing addiction, temporary housing for those in crisis, and support for finding stable housing and employment. Their work is vital and deeply impactful, and we are honoured to play a small role in supporting their efforts.
