By supporting the educational goals of our team members and their families, we strengthen our organization and make a meaningful impact on the communities we serve. That's why BEST is proud to offer the Ulf von Dehn Founder Memorial Educational Grant—a program designed to empower the frontline workers who are the backbone of our company.
Since its launch in 2013, the Ulf von Dehn Grant has provided over $170,000 in financial support to more than 419 team members and their loved ones This initiative reflects our deep commitment to continuous learning and our belief in the transformative power of education.
Education often comes with financial challenges, but this grant helps ease that burden. It enables team members to focus on their growth, whether advancing their careers, gaining new skills, or supporting a family member’s education.
Applications for the grant are accepted year-round, with intakes every April and October. To qualify, team members must have been with BEST for at least 12 months and be enrolled in a Canadian post-secondary program starting within six months. With the next round of funding coming up in October, eligible frontline team members are encouraged to reach out to their Site Manager or Supervisor for more information.
