There is a great quote by Ralph Waldo Emerson that says “What lies behind us, and what lies before us, are tiny matters compared to what lies within us.” I feel this quote really captures the essence of Capilano University, and our commitment to our communities truly reflects what is at our core, or as Emerson said, what is within us. Together we can make a difference. We can make that difference by making a pledge in support of raising the goal of $45,000 set by United Way this year, or by volunteering time and talent, or by participating in one of the Capilano United Way campaign events. Whatever way you choose to help make a difference in our lower mainland communities through United Way you represent the heart that is Capilano. "
