The global pandemic has presented numerous challenges for maintaining public health at higher education campuses. To meet these challenges, institutions such as the British Columbia Institute of Technology (BCIT) have partnered with industry-leading cleaning companies such as BEST Service Pros to help them reach their goal of creating healthy spaces for their students, staff, and faculty.
BEST's collaboration with BCIT has recently resulted in BCIT earning a score of APPA Level 1 from a third-party cleaning assessment company. Level 1 is the highest level of APPA's 'Five Levels of Cleanliness' and represents 'orderly spotlessness,' meaning that surfaces were cleaned to a very high standard across all buildings at BCIT, free from dust, smudges, or fingerprints; colours were bright and fresh, and fixtures gleamed and were free of odours.
"Congratulations to BEST Service Pros and BCIT on achieving the highest levels of custodial performance. Attaining this benchmark provides confidence to our community in this core service delivery."
- Daniel Clement, Director of Facilities at BCIT
