BEST Celebrates 7 Years With Union Gospel Mission

For nearly a decade, BEST Service Pros has donated a “Day of Meals” to the Union Gospel Mission in Vancouver’s Downtown Eastside. Over this time, we have raised close to $47,000, served over 34,000 meals and utilized more than 600 hours of work.

We are proud to do what is right and to invest in our communities, especially those in need in our society. With programs including Rental Assistance, Housing Outreach and the new Women and Families Centre, the Downtown Eastside needs the services that the UGM provides, and BEST is pleased to do our part to aid in their critical interventions.

The access to meals provides hope to those who would not otherwise have a hot meal, and encourages them to join in the UGM’s recovery and poverty relief services. We are pleased to spend a day out of our year contributing to the betterment of our communities.

The “Day of Meals” is one of several charitable organizations that BEST contributes to on an annual basis. We encourage our team members to bring their preferred charities to our attention so we can help them to be “Different In A Good Way” – helping those in need.
