COVID-19: A letter from BEST Service Pros

The world is facing a truly unprecedented situation. The global pandemic of COVID-19 is affecting our families, our businesses, our communities and our way of life.

At BEST Service Pros, although our standard of cleanliness is high, we are taking proactive measures to keep our team members and communities safe in the wake of the current global COVID-19 situation.

We are following all recommendations from provincial and federal health authorities and we have been acting very proactive in communicating and working with our customers to align best practices on site.

At present, we will continue to service all our customers using the precautions listed below. Our regulatory and safety teams are continuously monitoring the outbreak of COVID-19, and we will adapt our practices as necessary as the situation evolves.

Also, BEST has a cross-functional team monitoring the situation to ensure precautions are taken accordingly and communicated effectively:

  • All leaders were trained to educate everyone about the symptoms and preventative measures.
  • Our team members are instructed to regularly and thoroughly wash them with soap and water for at least 20 seconds or clean their hands with an alcohol-based hand rub.
  • We are working with our vendors to ensure sufficient supplies of appropriate PPE is available at all times.
  • Implementing a comprehensive surface and contact point disinfection plan.
  • We are communicating governmental guidance on infection prevention and when to self-isolate and seek medical assistance to each one of our team members, and we require them to follow this guidance.
  • Our leadership teams are routinely communicating with our team, and providing guidance on precautionary measures for both work and home.
  • We have limited business travel to meet governmental guidelines.
