Pink Shirt Day: Stand Up to Bullying

February 18, 2020 - Posted By Livia Valpassos

February 26 is Pink Shirt Day, a day when people wear a pink shirt to symbolize taking a stand against bullying. It’s an idea that originated in Canada and is celebrated around the world.

“Bullying is a major problem in our schools, workplaces, homes, and online. Over the month of February, and throughout the year, CKNW Kids' Fund's Pink Shirt Day aims to raise awareness of these issues, as well as raise funds to support programs that foster children’s healthy self-esteem.” – Pink Shirt Day Website.

At BEST, our goal is to create a positive impact on people's lives, so we encourage an environment of trust and respect with all team members, customers and the communities in which we operate. In addition to the strong culture we have built, all BEST employees and leaders are trained to manage any situation related to bullying.

We support Pink Shirt Day and respect the diversity and differences of all people.
