One of BEST's core values is “Investing in People,” which means we value our team and client relationships and we also believe in investing to help build and develop a sustainable community.

Fundraising events are a great way to raise support for local charities that seek to help those in need and make dreams come true for children and students.

On July 16, we participated in the 34th Annual Ivanhoé Cambridge Golf Tournament in support of the Make-A-Wish Foundation, in Northview Golf & Country Club, Surrey, BC. Since 1998, Ivanhoe Cambridge has been a proud supporter of Make-A-Wish BC & Yukon, through the annual golf tournament, individual & in-kind donations. This year, the tournament raised raising $100,000 for the institution. Make-A-Wish Canada is an affiliate of Make-A-Wish® International, the largest wish-granting organization in the world, making dreams and wishes come true for more than 450,000 children since 1980.

On August 1st, we were Hole Sponsor at the annual SAIT Golf Classic tournament held at the Priddis Greens Golf & Country Club in Alberta. Since 2016, the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology (SAIT) Centennial Tournament has raised nearly $105,000 to support the SAIT Trojan student-athlete awards and offers opportunities for unique engaging learning on campus.

On August 13, we were a master sponsor of the Bill Keeler Memorial Golf Classic to support student financial aid and student-athletes at Lakehead University. The event happened at Whitewater Golf Club, Thunder Bay, Ontario. The scholarships and bursaries student-athletes receive from Lakehead University enable them to continue their academic pursuits without having to sacrifice the other facets of their lives. Lakehead University helps open the world for students, communities, and more than 63,000 Alumni.

We are happy and proud to have recently attended and sponsored these events to offer support to communities across Canada.
