We have been providing professional commercial building cleaning services since 1956 and have a long history of providing cleaning and customer service solutions to our clients throughout Western Canada.
Our expertise is in high traffic public facilities such as post secondary schools, shopping malls, and municipal facilities, which require a high level of cleaning expertise, scheduling & planning, supervision, attention to detail, responsiveness and quality management. We have a proven track record servicing these high traffic, high volume facilities and we continue to grow and retain contracts with these types of facilities.
One Business Model Approach
No Subcontractor Model
We do not subcontract our day to day cleaning services and believe strongly that our employees’ personal and professional development are essential to how we deliver our services. The use of sub-contractors can limit quality control, training and fair labour practices. It can also detract from our core value commitments to provide a premier service to our clients, and ensure the respect and trust of our team. Due to these risks, we only use subcontractors for specialty requests or services when a client approves and agrees that the benefit associated with the unique situation outweigh the risks. We strongly believe that the one-business approach is a best practice in the industry, will result in higher quality standards, and provide our clients with the confidence that proper auditing and best labour practices are in place.
No Temporary Foreign Workers
We are not enrolled in the temporary foreign workers program. We have set this standard to ensure we provide our clients with service excellence. By not using temporary foreign worker, we are supporting our communities by hiring local residents and investing in training and development programs to create stability in a qualified work force. We strive to develop career opportunities for each of our employees and create an atmosphere where they can grow in their roles and become long-term BEST employees. Team retention, continued quality, and customer service excellence are best achieved through a no temporary foreign workers model.
No Franchise Model
We also operate under a no franchise model. We are proud of our 59 years of uninterrupted service to our valued clients. We are able to maintain clients because of our experience and benchmarking, both of which help us consistently improve our processes. We believe a franchise model would not be aligned with our mission, vision, or core values and would not allow our businesses to maintain the high level of quality and transparency required to ensure each client’s needs are met on a consistent basis.
